BIO

J.U.M.P., Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created to assess and provide
immediate support to families with at-risk teen girls by providing specific
professional services in the area of preventive and managed healthcare,
mental health care, screening and counseling, parenting support, early
intervention programming, emergency referral services and provide community
social services, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, school social
work (linkages), crises intervention services, psychological testing/evaluation,
information and referral, extended therapeutic program and case management
services.

Our Programs include:

ChasteKeepers (CK), which is an abstinence project focusing on promoting a
healthy lifestyle and methods necessary for making positive, self-affirming life
choices.  This program takes into consideration the developmental needs of
the teen girls.  It’s about making choices that are right, choices that will shape
lives and the individuals they become.  It’s knowing who you are and believing
in yourself.  The residents will gain a greater sense of self-worth and greater
insight about the dangers and harmful affects of the use of drugs, alcohol,
tobacco, premarital sexual activities and criminal involvement and will be less
tolerant of their use.  ChasteKeepers uses nationally accredited curriculum,
guest speakers and field trips in order to spread the word about avoiding self-
defeating behaviors.

Recreation Program (RP) focuses on providing activities outside of the home
environment.  Field trips to local attractions enhance residents' social skills and
provide an opportunity for residents to feel connected to their peers and
community.  The program offers residents the chance to participate in after-
school activities such as social clubs and athletics.  Funds for this program can
be used to pay for school-sponsored field trips, athletic uniforms, band
instruments, choral uniforms and other special events such as trips to the
movies or Six Flags.  The primary goal of the program is to provide an outlet of
normalization for the teens, thus allowing them to maintain a feeling of
belonging with their society.

The Help Force Program (HF).  Residents assist the elderly and homeless by
volunteering to serve in feeding the hungry, clothing the needy and visiting the
elderly.  This program will help to enhance the residents’ self-worthiness and
build self-esteem.  All Chastity House residents will participate in all program
activities.

J.U.M.P. believes that better informed youth tend to make better decisions
about their lives.

Initial Goal
The Board of Directors' projection is to raise $1.2 million for a five year plan, to
include the construction and operation of the model grassroots Chastity
House.

Chastity House Project Plan
Chastity House, is a residential group home for victimized teen girls nestled in
a safe, established community. The purpose of
Chastity House is to provide
and operate a teen care home for the community's abused, neglected and
deprived teen girls.

Each of  us begin our lives in some kind of family.  Families present a great
diversity of socioeconomic circumstances, problems and symptoms.  Families
have great potential for promoting the growth of individuals with the family
system.  All family members want a healthy, healing atmosphere in which each
person receives guidance, strength and nurture.  Yet, sometimes things go
awry and someone has difficulties which affect other members of the family.
Families with the best intentions may need help to mobilize their strengths,
which may be hidden by the pain and disappointment that always accompany
problems.  Since all are affected, each member can contribute to the solution.

Adolescence is a time of rapid physical growth with many developmental
changes occurring.
Chastity House takes into consideration the unique
developmental needs of the adolescent and teen, the needs of the family, and
the changes that must take place to prevent them from or move them out of a
diseased lifestyle into a new, functional, healthy lifestyle.

Chastity House believes that all teens warrant a loving, caring and safe
environment, no matter what circumstances they have encountered in life.
Therefore,
Chastity House’s mission is to provide a care home in a non-
institutionalized setting, for the physical, emotional and social needs of
victimized teen girls between the ages of 12 and 18.

Most group homes are situated in a business district and is constructed in an
industrialized-type building that operate like dormitories.  Teens living in this
environment unfortunately can receive taunting from peers which, in turn, will
result in low self-esteem which means helplessly, shame, powerlessness and
depression.  At
Chastity House, we take into account these issues.  Chastity
House
allows teens to continue to live in a traditional, conventional family
environment, in a safe, established community with 24 hour supervised living
arrangements, in addition to  receiving professional assistance needed.

Teens placed in foster care homes may remain for extended periods of time
but often is not permanent which leaves the teen feeling confused, anxious
and oftentimes, angry.  Foster care placement may lack the special needs
support system that many teens will require to ensure a healthy discipline.

Chastity House combines the support system that a traditional group home
extends, along with the comforts of family living environment that a foster home
tenders.

LONG RANGE PLANS
To change the face of the traditional, institutional-styled group home setting
and provide a family oriented environment in safe, established communities in
every major city in the United States.
